Freshly Made Sketches #243

This was a quick and easy card for FMS.  It turned out that it inspired me to buy a dozen doughnuts.. yum just what we all need.  I will also add it to Seize the Birthday. Keep scrolling down and you can see my finished class project in watercolor.. I am enjoying it.  Thanks Susan

I finally finished my boat.. I have a friend that knows boats and says all the mast lines are goofy but Hey I copied it from someone else.. It was a fun technique and gee my hubby is happy he loves it and me  :)

Let Heaven and Nature Sing

I love this Serendipity sentiment and this EF by Stampin UP they are so versatile..  I've used them a hundred times.  My husband and I love nature and spend lots of time photographing birds, flowers and spending time in nature.

Babys 1st Birthday

Gotta love these little monkeys.  All ready for a birthday party.  I will put this card in MojoMonday and Seize the Birthday as well as Send a Smile 4 Kids.  Hope they like it.

MoJo Princess

Seize the Birthday and MoJo Monday both work for my card today.  I love this little girl. Reminds me of when my Jenny Benny was little instead of a 36 year old.. "Jen".  Let's hit the beach.

Relax with Serendipity

This has been such a busy week I needed to find a minute to relax so I made up this card and will add it to the Serendipity challenge Emboss.  I thought the EF of the sunshine might just work for this early morning fishing trip.

Went with my Grandson for a hike and got some nice photos..

We made it to the top.. Yea!

Elephants on parade FMS#233

I thought of this beautiful elephant set as soon as I saw the sketch for Freshly Made Sketches this week.  I love the parade of smaller elephants..

I think the sun is shining over the plains of Africa for them. I will send it on to SAS4Kids. Their challenge this time is Animals.  I thought of making it for a birthday but decided to leave it blank.  It could be used for so many reasons. 

MoJo #444

Here's a little crabby guy.. is he an animal?  I'm not sure I'm hoping you think so because I'm going to send him off to SAS4K challenge 'animals'  I guess even if he's not legally an animal the kids won't know  :)

I also think this crabby guy will go nicely for the MoJo #444 sketch challenge. 

Colour Q Challenge

I love the colors Calypso Coral and yellow. This card idea came from the Colour Q challenge and I love it.  The teal brads and black "Serene Silhouettes" by Stampin Up finish off this simple look. The background was done with the wax paper resist shown on Stamp TV it was fun to try. I'm shipping it off to my favorite blogger Stationery Styles, Patti (oh yea sister too) Thanks for letting me play along

MIM Watercolor brushed lettering #246

This is a great technique.. I had this stamp in the 'dump it at the next garage sale' basket when I found it to be perfect for this challenge over at MIM  Watercolor brushed lettering.. I love it.. But

What not to do... GRRRR I was almost finished when I dropped the brush of course right in the middle.. Did I say GRRR

Embossing with Serendipity

What a wonderful sentiment for my hubby for our 39th anniversary.  We had a nice trip to Oak Harbor and remembered how fun it is to get away and spend time with each other.  I will place this card in the Serendipity Emboss challenge .. were waiting for you to come join us.

Just Rollin Along With Serendipity..

On the way to deliver Birthday flowers to my friend..  I actually have 3 friends that all have birthdays on Mothers Day.. how fun. 

The embossing folder is from SU "Confetti" it's a party waiting to happen.  The "Happy" is from Serendipity and the bike is from PTI.

Flower Power

Love this stamp set from Serendipity.  The flowers remind me of an English Garden.  I colored them with Prisma colors and used Gamsol to blend. The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.  Hope there aren't any bugs actually in the flowers.. oh my..




The challenges I will add this card to are  Seize the Toppings and Serendipity's Emboss challenge.

Freshly Made Sketches #232

What a nice simple sketch from Freshly Made Sketches today.

I love the Wildflower fields designer paper by Stampin'Up its got a nice spring splash of color.  The PTI "with love" was a perfect addition for this challenge. 

As usual this beautiful birthday card will go off to SAS4Kids. I love supporting this ministry and also to Seize the Birthday.  Thanks for visiting.

Make it Monday with PTI

PTI is teasing us with all the ideas for the new release..the yummy goodies and the beautiful bold colors.. I made this with my new set inspired by the card by Stationerystyles when she did the "score" challenge.  I fell in love with this set and dies.  I will send this along with the Send A Smile 4 Kids box of cards for all the kids in the hospitals they support.
