I love this lady.. Billy Showell check her out on utube.. she paints amazing vegies and fruits. I'm working on the covering over that orange berry.. we'll see how it goes..
My husband Bob took this as a photo.. I stole it and made it a watercolor.. I won't show you the photo.. no fair comparing :)
I love this but its totally CASED so do not tell !! It was a picture on a calendar by Robert Duncan.. he is much much better but I tried.
This is my favorite I guess.. usually I pick them apart and find fault but this was a first for me to do the water and the duck and the reflection and .. and.. but I was pleased. I gave it to my husband for Valentines Day.. he loved it..
This little guy is very small. I put the watch up so you could tell but it's still not clear how small it is.. it's only 2.5 by 3.5 Very fun to do something so tiny.
Well thank you for stopping by and checking out my blog.
If I get my pictures back from retreat I'll share them soon. We had a fun and "Refreshing" time
Thanks for your comment. Decided not to publish though to save your privacy. Love your watercolors. Old barns and bridges are favorite scenes of mine.
ReplyDeleteOh wow!! Susan! I never saw the duck or the man with his son. these are sensational! Your water is perfect I can't imagine how you do it! I love the barn too but I've already seen that one : )
ReplyDeleteYou really have a God given talent! : ) I'm with Bob get busy so you can get them in the gallery!
Patti
Oh! and I forgot to say - could you find a challenge to enter some of these in? It does not have to be a stamped card. It would be wonderful to share your work in the community! Challenges would give you more exposure.
ReplyDeleteJust a thought : )
Jo
Sure but only ones not CASED and then how do you find the challenge..?? But yes and they still can be made into cards.. cards for Send a Smile 4 Kids.. for sure.
DeleteWow you are very talented!! Love your work. I am a friend of Patti from Wi and I can see talent runs in the family. Love your new blog and hope to see more stories of you and your sister inspiring creative works. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful creations.

ReplyDeleteyou are an amazing artist...wish I had a pinkie finger of your talent!! Beautiful cards and paintings!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan! Patti sent me ... and I'm OH so happy to see your lovely Wood Duck! We have next boxes in our yard and had dozens, and dozens of ducklings over the years, and video tape them taking their 'leap of faith' each Spring! Gorgeous paintings, CASE'd or not! In the cardmaking world, we CASE all the time - it is the truest form of flattery - right?

ReplyDeleteYou picture looks familiar, Susan, so I think I may have met you in Blogland before when Patti was blogging. She mentioned you in her post so I've come by to see your latest and I'm so glad I did. Well, except that you owe me to repair my jaw-drop, but otherwise I'm so glad I did! I'm going to assume your work is in galleries and coffee table books and you are making prints for cards and selling them in boutiques, right?!! Thank you for sharing!! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell
